Once proclaimed, “One of the most popular resorts in the magic northlands,” White Bear Lake has retained its small-town charm and is located on the north-eastern edge of the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.
Distinct for its small town character, the beautiful downtown area of White Bear Lake hosts many events showcasing some of the greatest things about this lakeside community. From the celebration of Manitou Days and Marketfest in the summer to the BEAR’ly open Winter golf tournament on the ice, the downtown area is alive with fun festivals and special events for the whole family throughout the entire year.
The “Scare in White Bear” 5k begins at West Park, closest to the downtown area and along scenic Lake Ave.
