Year-RoundHost Sam Bergman brings his magical blend of history, musical analysis, and whimsy to take a deeper look at Strass' composition. The first half of the concert will be a musical mystery tour through the piece. The second half will be the full rendition of this piece which uses the cello as the voice of Don Quixote and the viola to portray the comical sidekick Sancho Panza. We welcome Concert Artists Guild International Competition Winner Sebastien Bäverstam, making his Mankato debut. A series of special events are planned around this concert in collaboration with MSU's Jim Grabowska and Kim Contag, leading experts on all things Quixote.
Concert begins at 3 pm.
Tickets range from $15-25 for Adults, $5.00 for Youth under 17, and $5.00 for students with ID.
