Choirs featured: American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota 50th Anniversary Directors’ Chorus – Craig Hella Johnson, conductor; Angelica Cantanti Youth Choirs – Concert Choir – Nancy Grundahl, conductor; Concert Choir of the Northfield Youth Choirs – Elizabeth Shepley, conductor; Magnum Chorum – Christopher Aspaas, conductor; and The St. Olaf Choir – Anton Armstrong, conductor.
Craig Hella Johnson will serve as the artistic director.
Upon our own reflection, each of us has a list of people who have touched our lives in immeasurable ways; we rarely have the opportunity to say thank you. The Tribute Concert is our chance to acknowledge and honor those individuals that have made lasting impressions on our hearts and souls; to sing the praises of those mentors who, through their strength of character, their guidance, and their knowledge, have changed our world for the better. Conductor Craig Hella Johnson will lead the combined voices of our featured choirs in a profound celebration of the gifts we have received.
Concert is sponsored by the American Choral Directors Association of Minnesota and is part of its 50th anniversary celebration weekend.
