Year-RoundScare up a good time at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum's Ghouls & Goblins in the Gardens, a family-friendly Halloween event set for the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27-28, from noon to 4 p.m., in the Arboretum gardens. Building on the success of last year's Halloween event, this year's edition will feature a shorter walking trail and fun new features.
Dress up in your most imaginative costume and come out to the Arboretum for "spook-friendly" fun. Take a short "Trick or Treat Trail" past the "Cabin in the Woods" inhabited by a cauldron-stirring witch, then meander by the haunted graveyard and Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Watch out for soaring bats and ghosts!
Additional features include face-painting, concessions and pumpkin sales, plus haunting music galore.
Admission to Ghouls & Goblins in the Gardens is $5 for ages 13 and older; $3 for ages 3-12; free for under 2 & under, (up to noon Oct. 26). After that, it's $10 for 13 & older. In addition, the Arboretum gate fee applies ($12 ages 13 & older; free for 12 and under; free for members). Visit arboretum.umn.edu/ghoulsandgoblins.aspx for details.
Ghouls & Goblins in the Gardens is presented by RBC Wealth Management.
