The MMAA Project Space is an incubator for the next-generation art museum and cultural center in the heart of St. Paul. Housed in the historic and architecturally significant Pioneer Building, the Project Space is founded on a genuine respect for and interest in the experiences, stories, and abilities of the local community, and the belief that art and creativity are critical to building a strong sense of community and fostering civic engagement. The Project Space will offer dynamic hands-on programs in partnership with local art organizations, opportunities to interact with both emerging and established artists, and ongoing conversations about how the new MMAA can intersect with arts and culture in the Twin Cities.
