Year-RoundThe spring season brings with it many delights including the welcome return of a popular songbird, the Eastern Bluebird, decked out in bright blue feathers, a rusty colored throat and white belly. On Saturday, April 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the entire family is invited to the Visitor Center to meet bluebird expert Keith Radel. Keith will answer questions and share his knowledge about the beautiful eastern bluebird, how to attract bluebirds to your backyard and how to be successful in increasing the bluebird population. Feel free to just stop by and bring your photos and questions to share, or make a mealworm bird feeder to take home with you.
A MN state Park vehicle permit is required to attend this event, and can be purchased at the park for $5/day or $25 for an annual permit.
