Year-RoundThis New World Class level sled dog race connects 3 Cook County communities of the North Shore. 30 teams will compete for $25,000! This 3 day event celebrates the heritage of mushing in the Arrowhead Region. For this race, each community(Grand Portage, Gunflint Trail and Grand Marais) will host events honoring the colorful history. Each day teams will take off from the community giving spectators an opportunity to see the mushers and teams take off and learn more about this sport of the North.
