This exhibition features objects from the AMAA@UST that were collected by artist and anthropologist Tobias Schneebaum during the 1970s and 80s. The works, along with drawings and quotations by Schneebaum, offer insight into Schneebaum’s experiences working with the people of Asmat and the Catholic Crosiers. This exhibition is curated by art history graduate student Gretchen Burau and opens September 4, 2013.
