The 1940s come to life this weekend at Historic Fort Snelling! Thousands of Minnesotans joined the military at Fort Snelling during World War II, and this special event explores the stories of Minnesota's Greatest Generation. Visit with costumed staff and reenactors to learn about the lives of soldiers and civilians, enjoy displays of vintage vehicles, watch weapons firings, and much more! Guests can also participate in a 1940s radio "broadcast" and enjoy a re-created USO show complete with a performance by Minnesota's own "Andrews Sisters"!
