May 24, 2013 - May 26, 2013Brainerd International Raceway's 2013 Muscle Car Series kicks off Memorial Day weekend (May 24-26) with the 5th Annual Street Car Showdown, which is a display of raw speed and power on the quarter-mile drag strip. The Showdown is the first race in the Muscle Car Series, featuring the "fast five" classes, with cars that can run 6-7 seconds at over 200 mph. They have the kind of horsepower that yanks their front end off the ground when they launch from the starting line. The event includes the NASCAR K&N Pro Series and the SCCA Harvey West Classic on the road course. Three exciting events for the price of a single ticket! Racing goes on rain or shine. Kids 12 and under are FREE! On-site camping.
