Marriage is in the air and on the minds of the five Bennet daughters, who are in need of suitable husbands. With the news that nearby Netherfield Park has been leased by wealthy young Mr. Bingley, the matrimonial matchmaking begins with a flourish in the Bennet household and throughout their country neighborhood. Soon enough, Mr. Bingley falls in love with the eldest Bennet, Jane, and the family is hopeful of soon seeing her happily married.
