Outdoor activities abound. Minnesota hiking offers something for everyone - challenging climbs to waterfalls and rocky ridges; winding trails through forests and along waterways where you can find all kinds of Minnesota birds and wildlife; or easy strolls along paved trails.
For the adventure seeker, there are more than 900 miles of ATV trails, and more than 20,000 miles of designated snowmobile trails. Minnesota skiing ranges from well-groomed cross-country trails; to exciting downhill venues featuring black diamond runs and terrain parks.

Dog sledding is quickly becoming a popular snow sport, and not just among mushers with their own teams of sled dogs.

Visitors may book next year's camping vacation during or soon after this year's trip, while their favorite places and campsite is fresh in their mind.
