Minnesota boasts almost 10 million acres of public hunting land, which is open to small game hunting, waterfowl hunting, pheasant and grouse hunting and Minnesota deer hunting during our hunting seasons. 

Minnesota hunting is a tradition passed on from generation to generation, stimulating a stewardship of habitat and wildlife, and promoting positive values. A huge majority of Minnesota voters affirmed hunting as a constitutionally protected privilege in 1998.
