2014 Governor’s Fishing Opener Event Proposals Sought

Explore Minnesota Tourism is seeking proposals to host the 2014 Governor’s Fishing Opener event. Event dates are Thursday, May 8 – Sunday, May 11, 2014. Proposals will be accepted from community organizations such as chambers of commerce, convention & visitor bureaus, resort associations, or a committee formed specifically for the event. A specially formed committee must show documentation of active support from local organizations. Extensive community involvement and support is necessary for a successful event.
