U of M Tourism Center Position Open

The University of Minnesota Tourism Center is seeking a person with degrees in tourism or related fields, experience in the design, evaluation and application of research related to community-based tourism and traveler behavior, as well as the ability to design educational programs based on this, and other, research. The person in this position will work to develop, implement and share tourism-related research that informs program development, informs tourism-related decisions and contributes to a successful and sustainable tourism industry. Requirements include a master’s degree at time of appointment and 3-years of related professional experience. Formal education should include significant coursework in research within a tourism management and development area or a closely related field. Preferred qualifications include a PhD.
