Explore Minnesota Tourism is seeking applicants for the staff position of Public Relations Specialist, filling a vacancy created by a retirement. The focus of the position is to promote Minnesota as a travel destination through the development of strategic public relations programs, including media relations, media events and social media, generating interest in Minnesota travel and increasing awareness of Minnesota tourism through media and social media coverage. This position develops opportunities for media coverage and responds to media inquiries related to Minnesota travel and the tourism industry. Applicants should have strong experience in media relations and excellent communications skills.
