Promote Birding and Wildlife Watching this Fall and Winter

Release Date: Oct 30, 2012

Fall and winter are great times for both casual and avid wildlife watchers and birders to take to the fields and forests. With the foliage off the trees and brush, it becomes much easier to see critters. To help promote your area to wildlife watchers and birders there are several websites you can utilize, including the following: www.camacdonald.com/birding/usminnesota.htm where you will find a list of suggested viewing sites; www.birding.com/wheretobird/minnesota.asp with hints and suggestions for wildlife viewing and birding; http://moumn.org the Minnesota Ornithological Union's website where you will find information about birding and wildlife watching in Minnesota; and, don't forget www.exploreminnesota.com where wildlife watching and birding information is also available. Utilize this opportunity to increase travel to your areas by making people aware of the wildlife viewing opportunities that exist all over Minnesota.
