Bemidji Recognized as a Bike Friendly Community
Release Date: Oct 30, 2012
Bemidji has been awarded the bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community designation by the League of American Bicyclists. As one of only four other Minnesota cities (Minneapolis, St. Paul, Mankato and Rochester), Bemidji joins an elite list of cities where community organizations have worked together to make biking a comfortable, convenient option for transportation and recreation. The league awards bicycle friendly community designations at five levels (Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze). Congratulations to our friends in Bemidji!
