Plan To Attend the 2013 Explore Minnesota Tourism Conference

Release Date: Nov 27, 2012

The brochure is in the mail with more details on the 2013 tourism conference to be held February 12 – 13, 2013 at the Hilton Minneapolis hotel in downtown Minneapolis.  Highlights include a greeting from Governor Mark Dayton on Wednesday, February 13 at noon. We are also fortunate to have Shaun Aukland, DMO Lead for Google presenting updates on social media. This topic is ever-changing and Shaun has the expertise and ability to share information on the topic in a way that is understandable for all levels of experience.

There are a couple of important updates from the conference brochure:

An incorrect hotel reservation phone number was included on the brochure; the correct number for hotel reservations at the Hilton is 888-933-5363. The URL for website reservations is correct.

Dinner for those participating in the pre-conference activities on Monday will be at Brit’s Pub, a popular restaurant near the hotel. Cost for dinner is included in the $35 pre-conference rate.

If you are interested in being a sponsor or having a booth in the Marketplace, there is still space available! Contact Julie Ramer at 651-757-1863 or julie.ramer@state.mn.us. For additional conference questions, contact Gayle Junnila at 651-757-1852 or gayle.junnila@state.mn.us.
