Asian Receptive Tour Operator Sales Mission Heads to Los Angeles May 21-24

Explore Minnesota Tourism will lead a sales mission for Minnesota industry interested in reaching the Asian market, specifically Chinese, Japanese and Korean travelers. We’ll make sales calls on receptive tour operators from these three markets over the course of three days.
China is the fastest growing and highest spending international market. Japanese travel is making a comeback with a 14% year-over-year increase and is still the #2 overseas source of U.S. visitors. Korea was recently granted visa-waiver status, which should dramatically increase travel over the 12% increase enjoyed in 2012.
Cost will be a pro-rata share of ground transportation and two evening functions (estimated at $600, based on eight participants) plus individual air (estimated $550), meals (estimated $35/day) and accommodation expenses (estimated $112/night).
