Familiarization Tours

Explore Minnesota Tourism sponsors trips for both domestic and international media tour operators and group leaders to familiarize them with Minnesota destinations and provide information they need to increase awareness of Minnesota as a destination and develop international tour product to our state. Tourism organizations and businesses have the opportunity to co-sponsor familiarization (fam) tours by providing complimentary lodging, meals, attractions and guide services. Explore Minnesota Tourism works through tourism organizations to develop itineraries for each fam tour.
