Valentini's on the main street of Chisholm is a special place for me. My grandparents opened Valentini's in 1934. Whenever I walk through the door, I am flooded with memories of my father behind the bar serving up drinks & jokes for everyone. Valentini's is known throughout the Range for their authentic, home-made Italian food and lively bar. There are so many fun places on the Iron Range, it was difficult to narrow my favorites down to four. No matter where you go, you see people of all ages enjoying themselves. You will never find more friendly, fun loving people! Once you step inside the Whistling Bird on the main street of Eveleth you will be instantly transported to Jamaica! The owners are your tour guides as you enjoy tropical drinks and authentic Jamaican food that is just delicious! Everything about this place is fun! It is always busy; especially in the summer when everyone is "out at the lake".
