Brigid's Cross takes it's name from Ireland's most well-known female patron saint, St. Brigid of Kildare. The pub offers the true signature beer of Brigid's Cross - Guinness. Entertainment each night makes the pub a hopping place! Everything from Tartan Tuesdays (wear your family kilt and partake of $3 pints or glass of house wine and 1/2 price ) to open stage for acoustic musicians, poets, actors and writers on Thursday nights.
The Wild Rose Theater is home to the up and coming Mask & Rose Women's Theater Collective. The theater offers theater featuring substantive stories about women as well as many opportunities for youth theater development. Housed in a the historic 1923 built Masonic Temple building it theater features : staged readings of contemporary plays, open mike nights, concerts, Art Film Nights, plays and summer youth theatre classes.
Wild Hare Bistro is a funky bistro owned by Moni & Norwood Hall and features delectable specials and never what could be described as traditional coffee shop fair. The Wild Hare serves as an active arts center with visual arts monthly displays as well as First Friday Arts Night bands featured. Especially outstanding are the World Tour gourmet meals served once a month featuring the foods of Morrocco, India, Thailand and other exotic locales .
