Beautiful park-like grounds surround the luxury vacation homes and deluxe cabins. Just 10 miles north of Alexandria on beautiful Lake Miltona. Spring fed and crystal clear, Lake Miltona is great for the kids to play in, ideal for swimming and of course famous for its fishing.
Woodland Resort is an upscale family owned resort with 8 Vacation Homes & Cabins. Our lake facing accommodations are located on the east side of Lake Miltona with SUPER SUNSETS and are tastefully decorated, Air Conditioned with TV/VCRs and completely equipped for housekeeping including microwave, gas grills, picnic table, large decks and deck chairs.
Many units include FIELDSTONE WOOD BURNING FIREPLACES (wood included!) double Jacuzzi Tubs, and Dishwashers. WHY SETTLE FOR LESS WHEN YOU ARE ON VACATION?
Wonderful 400' crystal clear gradually sloping beach--just beach, no docks and boats to interfere! Boats and docks are all at one end of the shoreline giving lots of room and privacy at the largest beach on Lake Miltona offering swim raft, bonfire rings, free KAYAKS and PADDLE BOAT. Spacious playground with sand volleyball court, basketball, tetherball, badminton, horseshoe, swing sets and huge sand box. Bait and gas are available at the resort. NEW Boats and Motors, NEW Boat Lifts and Pontoon are available for rent. Golf and free tennis courts are within minutes.
WINTER-WE ARE ON THE 500 MILE D.A.T.A. snowmobile trail. Guide-placed fish houses are available. Cross country and downhill skiing are nearby. Our Luxury Vacation Homes are open all year with SPECIAL RATES FOR TWO. Honeymoon packages available. One vacation homes will accommodate 2 to 14 people, in one home, or Groups up to 30!
WOODLAND RESORT is an easy 2 hour drive from the Twin Cities on I-94 and just 10 miles North of Alexandria. Lake Miltona is the largest lake in Douglas county--5838 acres of crystal clear spring fed water--abundant Walleye, Muskie, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Northern and Panfish.
