We boast the best view on Ash River which leads you to Lake Kabetogama, Namakan, Crane, and Rainy. Fishing walleye, northern, crappie, and smallmouth bass are second to none. Our area provides swimming, camping, hiking, and some of the most awesome snowmobile trails you'll find anywhere. FOUR SEASON FUN!

We offer 1-4 BR fully modern cabins providing the comforts of home with the warm, rustic atmosphere of the great north woods. Full hookup sites include dock space for 1 boat. Ash River is the most central place to access Lakes Kabetogama and Namakan, as well as Sand Point and Crane Lake. You can also enjoy a day on Rainy Lake via mechanical portage at the Kettle Falls Hotel & Dam.
Walleye, northern pike, small-mouth bass, and crappie can be your catch-of-the-day while taking in the spectacular beauty of the rock cliffs, pine studded shorelines, quiet bays, and beautiful skies. Often the deer, moose, black bears, eagles, timberwolves, otters, and beavers can be seen in our peaceful corner of the world. Birding has become a very popular pastime as well.
If you like to hunt we offer bear, deer, and grouse hunting September through November. For larger groups, call for our hunting specials.
WINTER IS MAGICAL!
Our northland is a true winter wonderland with a variety of activities from snowmobiling to cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing. There are hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails and cross-country ski trails throughout Voyageurs National Park and surrounding areas.

We are 280 miles north of Minneapolis. Take I35 north to hwy 33 (Cloquet exit). Take hwy 33 to hwy 53 north. Stay on 53 through Orr to mile marker 136. Turn right on 129 (Ash River Trail) and go 10 miles east.
