Built in 1892 the Two Harbors Lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Stay in Minnesota's oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the North Shore.
During your stay for the night guests are keepers of the light. All proceeds are applied to the restoration and maintenance of the lighthouse. The Two Harbors Lighthouse, has shown the way since 1892, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cozily accommodates guests in the setting where generations of lighthouse keepers have lived.Fully restored to the early 1900's era with antiques, the Lighthouse has four rooms available, each with a superb view of Lake Superior. The Keeper's room directly overlooks Lake Superior with a view of the rocky shoreline. The Forest room faces east, watch the sunrise on Lake Superior over the trees. The Harbor room watch the big ore boats maneuver as they quietly sail into Agate Bay from Lake Superior. The Skiff House, a private cottage a few steps from the main Keeper Quarter's, with views of Agate Bay watching the ore boats take on a load or see the waves on Lake Superior.With a wealth of year-round recreation near at hand, we welcome birders, paddlers, bicycling enthusiasts, hikers, snow-shoers, cross-country skiers and other winter sportsters.
