Located between Lutsen and Grand Marais on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Kah-Nee-Tah's three cottages offer you privacy nestled in a northwoods setting with a view of Lake Superior. Open year round. We are a pet friendly resort with direct access to the Superior Hiking Trail & cross country skiing. Six miles to Lutsen Mountain and Superior National Golf Course. Cottages have cobblestone fireplaces, decks and complete kitchens. Located between Lutsen and Grand Marais and nestled in the north woods with a view of Lake Superior, Kah-Nee-Tah's three cottages offer you privacy and comfort. The Studio sleeps two, the Woodland Cottage sleeps up to four, and the Lakeview Cottage will sleep six. Each has a cobblestone fireplace, full kitchen and spacious deck.We supply Weber grills, CD/tapes/radios, telephones, firewood, towels, linens and paper products. Pets are welcome! Our guests appreciate the privilege of having their pets accompany them and therefore they treat our accommodations with respect and clean up after their pets.We are two miles from Cascade River State Park and seven miles from Superior National Golf course and the ski hill at Lutsen Mountain. Several restaurants are nearby and Grand Marais is only 14 miles north along the scenic North Shore Drive.The Kah-Nee-Tah Gallery is the North Shore showcase for Minnesota artists. We are a fine art gallery, exhibiting only original work, open all year. We show a wide variety of mediums including watercolors, pastels, batik, pottery, jewelry, baskets, photography, stained glass, sculpture, carvings, turned wood, bentwood vessels, blown glass, and much more. Open Mon.-Sat. 10-5, and Sunday 10-4, May thru October. Winter hours are 10-4 daily. We work on a consignment basis as well as wholesale. Artists should call to make an appointment to show their work.
