located off beautiful Excelsior Bay of Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota. We are located on downtown Excelsior's Water Street near some of the finest shopping and restaurants in the Twin Cities. This is the perfect point of departure for a fun getaway weekend or special occasion, and the perfect place to stay for a business traveler looking a different experience from a normal hotel. Available for weddings, business meetings, and larger gatherings. Our newly restored Victorian (1858) home has four guest rooms with private baths, whirlpools, fireplaces, full candlelight breakfast. Located three blocks from Lake Minnetonka near the western suburbs of Minneapolis. The home is light and airy with an "English Garden Decor" (Minnesota Monthly). Area activities include the Old Log Theater, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, cruise boats, restored steam boat, hiking, biking trail, University of Minnesota Arboretum, antique shops, restaurants, farmers market. Special events: art festival in June, antique and classic boat show in August, Apple Day in September, Christmas in Excelsior in December.
