Enjoy the comforts & ambiance of the old country while enjoying the modern amenities of today in our 1884 stately home that overlooks the Minnesota River Valley. We are located on German Street (that is what our name means) along the historic district; just four blocks from downtown New Ulm and its unique specialty shops, restaurants and museums. New Ulm is the home of Schell's Brewery, Morgan Creek Vineyards, and nearby are the Wanda Gag House, John Lind Home, and Flandrau State Park.
You are invited to enjoy comfort, cuisine and coffee while being our special guests; the five guest rooms are tastefully decorated and feature pillow-top queen and king-sized beds; some rooms have fireplaces and/or whirlpools. Our home-made breakfasts are served in the all-season sun porch on fine china and crystal. We provide four courses for a well-balanced breakfast to start your day and to give you the energy to explore the many attractions in New Ulm.
