Year-RoundA family resort with good smallmouth bass, crappie and walleye fishing on a crystal clear lake with housekeeping cottages and condos nestled among tall pines of the Chippewa National and Land O' Lakes State Forests in the Minnesota Northwoods.
The weekly kids fishing contest and marshmallow social are popular events for the entire family. Walleyes, smallmouth, largemouth, BIG northern pike, crappies, sunfish, bluegills and perch are some of the species of fish available for you to catch.
Our cottages and condos are nestled among the tall pines and range from two to four bedrooms. Some have two baths; some have fireplaces; all have spectacular views of crystal clear Thunder Lake. Each unit has a picnic table, deck chairs, Weber grill, and its own campfire pit. Interiors are fully-furnished. All units have a deck or patio.
Additional amenities include: sandy beach and swimming area, tennis court, volleyball, 2 playgrounds, boats, motors, pontoon, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, shuffleboard court, basketball, game room, ping pong, and a pool table.
Open year round, come hike, bike, snowmobile, 4-wheel, X-country ski nearby during any of the seasons. Close to dining and shopping. Check our website for a complete tour. A pontoon is available for your family cruise. Rent our boats and motors or bring your own.
