The majestic beauty of tall, magnificent virgin white and red pines, coupled with the pristine, undeveloped lake shores of Coon and Sandwick Lakes gives park visitors the opportunity to experience the true scenic beauty of Scenic State Park. This wilderness like park is popular for camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, canoeing, fishing, and bird watching. Camping is available in the semi-modern campgrounds and in remote boat in and back pack sites. A group camp and CCC cabin are also available for rental. Reservations are recommended.

Green Practices

  • Desc of Green Practices in Place: Recycling Stations are available in both Chase Point and Lodge campgrounds at Scenic State Park. They are located next to the dumpsters in each of the campgrounds. Plastics, glass, and aluminum cans can be recycled at these recycling stations.
