South Isle Family Campground is located 2 miles South of Lake Mille Lacs in East Central Minnesota. We offer family oriented camping and activities for young and old alike. Our facilities include a heated pool, large playground, fishing pond for children, Rainbow Express Train rides, wagon rides, frisbee golf, shuffle board, wifi to your site and more. In addition, Fiddlestix Golf Course is located directly across the road for those who enjoy golfing and Lake Mille Lacs is only 2 miles away. Mille Lacs Lake, Minnesota's premier walleye lake, is located 2 miles from the campground. Fiddlestix Golf Course, a beautiful and challenging 18 hole course, is located directly across the road from our campground, and the Soo Line bicycle and ATV trails are located 2 miles away.
We offer a clean, quiet campground. All of our sites are grass covered, and vary from heavily shaded to sunny. Our facilities are located on 74 acres of land and include a heated swimming pool, kids fishing pond and paddle boating, large playground, shuffle board, basketball, volleyball, softball field, clean bathrooms, nature trails and even a radio controlled airplane airstrip. We have special weekend activities from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend including FREE rides on the Snowball Express Train, wagon rides, horseshoe and Frisbee golf tournaments. Although most of our activities run on weekends, children always get a ride on the Snowball Express Train, no matter what day of the week it is. And, best of all, we never charge extra for any of the activities we provide.
