American Eagle Bluff Bed and Breakfast is situated on top of an entire bluff, with 30 mile views, eagle and bird watching while enjoying nature and lodging at its finest. We are surrounded by 40 private acres of pine forests, virgin prairie and 150 year old oak trees, for relaxing, hiking and viewing of the unspoiled confluence of the Mississippi and Chippewa Rivers, as well as Lake Pepin. We offer pristine, unparalleled views of the Tiffany Wildlife Preserve and beyond. You must see it to believe it!

Surrounded by grand old trees, our carefully renovated 1870 red brick farmhouse combines the charm of antiquity, along with bold and modern design details. Our guests enjoy use of the home which includes a lovely and stylish parlor area with artwork and antiques, library, solarium, veranda with old fashioned porch swing, Adirondack chairs and ornamental fish pond, as well as many other areas to sit and relax, both inside and out.

We maintain 12 acres of lavish flower, antique rose, hosta and perennial gardens as well as our own apple orchard, with peach, pear, plum and cherry trees. Wander the rolling lawns with stone walls, or lay in the 2 person hammock and watch the clouds roll by. Enjoy a 10 minute walk through the gardens and forest, to sit and watch birds migrate from our own private observation deck!

American Eagle Bluff offers our guests a choice of 2 suites, each with private baths, one of which is en suite. Each suite has a queen bed and is double occupancy. The rooms are a mixture of antiques, artwork, collectibles and eclectic finds. Both suites enjoy views overlooking the expansive grounds bordered by perennial gardens, rolling lawns and natural woodlands. Many of our guests book both suites with good friends or mom and dad and enjoy the entire house and acreage to themselves!
