Up North, in the heart of Minnesota’s finest lakes, this newly constructed, upscale resort is located eight miles SE of Brainerd & less than two hours from the metro. Lower South Long Lake is a 1300 acre recreational lake that is 3 miles long, offering great fishing, water skiing, canoeing, sailing and relaxing. It is a lake for the all species angler, due to its diversity of structure and abundance of food and cover. The lake is stocked annually and contains walleye, bass northern crappie and sunfish. Known by locals as one of Brainerd's best kept secrets, this quiet, scenic lake is also home to an abundance of wildlife such as loons, eagles, humming birds, egrets and deer.
