Open:
Year-Round12 km trackset. 12 km skate-ski. Mostly intermediate level trails. Located from Deer River 2.25 mi N on MN Hwy 6, then 2.5 mi E on Chase Lake Rd then .5 mi S on Chasewood Dr. Trail runs through pine and hardwood forest on shores of Chase lake, with gently rolling to steep hills. Ski pass required. Nordic trail is also hunter walking trail. City Forest also has many trails for horseback riding, bird & wildlife viewing in its 2,500 acres of forest. Snowbile, ATV, and Showshoe.
