May 15, 2013 - Sep 30, 2013The world's largest open pit iron ore mine, a national historic landmark; view working mine from observation area in historic North Hibbing; call for group tours; Hibbing Tourist Center Seniors, manages and operates the mine site. Site and giftshop open May 15th thru September 30th each year. Can be opened when not in season, please call for arrangements.
