Discover nearly 750 acres of forest, prairies, river and ponds with ten miles of hiking and biking trails; five miles of cross-country skiing; an observation deck; and "Windows on the Wild" back yard bird habitat in a year-round Interpretive Center. Public programs and events offered year round. River Bend is part of the "Big Woods". River Bend Nature Center is a private, 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is "to help people discover, enjoy, understand, and preserve the incredible natural world that surrounds us."
