This 300 acre forested wildlife management area is along the south shore of the Mississippi River. The shoreline has extensive beds of wild rice and is heavily used by waterfowl and furbearers. There are great opportunities to view forest song birds, as well as wetland wildlife, including Virginia and Sora rails, and nesting Great Blue Herons.
