LeDuc Historic Estate was built between 1862 and 1866 by William Gates LeDuc and his wife Mary LeDuc near the Vermillion River in Hastings, Minnesota. The LeDucs were prominent early settlers of Minnesota and played significant roles in the state's growth from a territory to a state. Tour season opens May 30, 2013 and closes Oct. 27, 2013. Open Thursday-Sat. 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sundays 1 -5 p.m. Rates: Adults - $6; Seniors & Military Personnel - $5; Student (6-17) - $3; Children (age 5 & younger) & Members of Dakota County Historical Society - FREE.
