Go Karting or more simply known as Karting is an automotive-related sport in which people of all ages can participate by the driving of a small, special-purpose motorized vehicles, utilizing the same skills and techniques of auto racing. The sport lends itself as a family activity where each family member can participate on an equal level. The track at the Atwater Karting Speedway is a clay surface that is 1/8 mile in length. Straightaway Lengths are 300'. The track opened in May 2000.
