Minnesota is one of the select areas in the U.S. where there is a professional team in every major sport. The MLB Minnesota Twins, Northern League St. Paul Saints and the WNBA Minnesota Lynx warm up the summer. The NFL Minnesota Vikings dominate autumn and play into winter months. The NBA Timberwolves, NFL Wild, and NLL Swarm play winter schedules with playoffs drifting into summer. The Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul are also known for two of the top sports venues in America: the Twins’ new Target Field and the Wild’s Xcel Energy Center.
