When it comes to the theater and art, Minnesota is the ticket to a good time! Minneapolis and St. Paul feature some of the country's finest theaters and world-class museums: the Guthrie Theater, the Children's Theatre Company, the Fitzgerald Theater (where Garrison Keillor hosts "A Prairie Home Companion"), the Walker Art Center, the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, and the Weisman Art Museum at the U of M - just to name a few. Plus there are touring Broadway productions at the Orpheum and Historic State Theatres in Minneapolis. Summer theater is staged throughout the state, including the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, the Paul Bunyan Playhouse in Bemidji, the Minnesota Festival Theater in Albert Lea, the Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing and others. From plays to dance and music performances, we've got it all.
