The Minnesota Lynx Are a Slam Dunk
The Lynx rose to the top in 2011, winning their first WNBA championship.
The team’s roster of talents includes All-Star Seimone Augustus, one of the WNBA’s top scorers and an Olympic Gold Medal winner; and Lindsay Whalen, a Minnesota native with several collegiate records who reached the Final Four with the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The Lynx, a sister team to the Minnesota Timberwolves NBA team, has been around since 1999. One of 12 WNBA teams in the United States, the Lynx have an active schedule on the road and at home.
