Year-RoundNorth Star Lake Resort is located in the Chippewa National Forest. We offer 19 deluxe 1-5 bedroom cabins with decks, grills, micros & A/C. Two swimming pools. The lodge has a "kids" snack bar & grill for those fast foods & snacks. Try our kinder nook program for tots with many fun activities.
We have a natural sand beach with a large sun deck, bonfires, water tramp, climbing mountain, Kayaks, paddle boats, pontoons, boats & motors.

North Star Lake Resort is located on North Star Lake just 30 miles north of Grand Rapids, MN on the Edge of the Wilderness Scenic Byway it is the perfect place to relax amidst the beauty and solitude of northern Minnesota's great wilderness. Each of our 19 deluxe cottages offer amenities like modern kitchens, full bathrooms, and decks from which you can enjoy the view. All cottages have been renovated with your comfort in mind all have air-conditioning.
Great Minnesota fishing can be found on North Star Lake. The lake is a well-known muskie lake but also boasts a healthy population of walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie and perch. North Star Lake is clean and clear so our guests enjoy swimming, water-skiing, paddle boating, and other water activities. They especially appreciate our safe, sandy beach complete with water toys.When not swimming in the lake - guests enjoy a refreshing swim in our heated swimming pool and kids wading pool. Our centrally located pool also has a great sun deck for soaking up the sun.
The lodge is a natural gathering place and houses the game room and "Snack Shop" and kids also love our well-equipped playground area with playhouse!Speaking of kids & help; We Love Them! We offer daily family activity programs as well as a Kindernook program designed to entertain the 2-7 year old while mom and dad enjoy quiet time together. Kids of all ages will enjoy scavenger hunts, kickball, basketball, volleyball, capture the flag, water balloon toss, BINGO, water relays, minnow races, fishing contests, movies, bonfires, and more.
