The Clay County Museum features exhibits that tell the stories of evolving communities and changing lifestyles in Clay County. From earliest recorded time through today, the struggles and victories are portrayed through interpretive exhibits. The archives contain records for genealogists and researchers and is open to the public free of charge.

Off I-94 go north on 8th St to 1st Ave N, turn west (left), go approx 1/2 mi. Located in the Hjemkomst Center building on the Red River. Museum is last building before crossing river and has a distinct white tent-like roof.
