May 1, 2013 - Oct 1, 2013Imagine spending time on a warm sunny beach, hiking a forest trail . . . fresh walleye, loons calling, a sunset and northern lights. All this can be yours in one of the Chippewa National Forest's 24 campgrounds. The campgrounds are located on 12 of the Forest's 1,300 lakes. Campground facilities vary from flush toilets and showers to rustic campgrounds with vault toilets and hand pump water wells.
