Open:
Year-RoundNumerous recreation opportunities year-round. Camping opportunities range from fully developed campgrounds to secluded wilderness as well as backcountry (non-wilderness) sites that have few or no facilities. Boating, canoeing, and fishing opportunities are nearly endless on the more than 2,000 lakes and streams found within the forest. Camping is available at most campgrounds during the "off" season at no cost but with fewer services.
