Minnesota Presents the 3M Open, its Annual PGA Tour Event

By Erica Wacker

Trade lake life for the links this July, when Minnesota hosts the 3M Open, its annual PGA Tour event.

No stranger to major golf tournaments, Minnesota hosted the Ryder Cup in 2016 and the KPMG Women's PGA Championship for the first time in 2019. With close to 500 courses statewide, Minnesota draws golfers from near and far to experience our spectacular fairways.

From July 21 to 27, the 3M Open will once again welcome some of the world's best golfers and thousands of fans, marking the final annual tournament in a seven-year deal at Blaine's TPC Twin Cities.

Home of the 3M Championship since 1993, TPC got a Tour-sized upgrade with help from co-designer and Minnesota golf legend Tom Lehman. The field is still being set for 2025, but past competitors have included Masters champions Phil Mickelson, Patrick Reed and Bryson DeChambeau. Jhonattan Vegas was the winner in 2024.
