12th Annual Darren Dash - 5K

This event honors Austin native and running enthusiast, Darren Lewis, and includes a half marathon, 5K, and Kiddie Run. Starts and ends at Lafayette Park. Event will be chip timed and participants will receive a tee shirt (register before Oct 11 for guaranteed shirt). Water stops and post race refreshments will be provided for all participants. Kiddie Run to take place at 11:00 am, immediately followed by awards ceremony. Awards will be given to top 3 runners in each age group for the 1/2 marathon and 5K. Proceeds from this event will go to a scholarship fun for Austin Cross Country runners and for programs committed to improving mental and physical health in the community.
