The Minneapolis Powerboat Championships the
official APBA (American Power Boat Association) national championship race for outboard
powered boats from across North America.

In a world dominated by electronic communications, the
Minneapolis Powerboat Championships is an exciting family friendly event
that crosses all generations by uniting people with its fun and drama! It will be totally accessible to everyone and
create memories that last a lifetime.

The APBA Nationals is a once a year event where up to 300 of
the best outboard racers from eight different racing classes of boats will come
from all corners of the United States and Canada to compete for the coveted
APBA National Championship Title.

This is a free event for spectators and the viewing from the river banks of the Mississippi River provide exceptional viewing of all the action from an amazing variety of vantage points that are accessible everyone.
