The 50th Anniversary Prairie Home Companion is a 140-minute show celebrating the last live radio variety show. It begins with a six-minute video on PHC’s origins in Minnesota, followed by Garrison Keillor’s stand-up on the beauty of being 80. The show features comedy sketches, the Royal Academy of Radio Acting, and sound effects wizard Fred Newman.
